Customer Service

Shipping & Delivery
We only deliver to the UK and certain other countries. We are only able to deliver to addresses in the UK and a small number of countries outside the UK. If you want us to deliver to a country outside the UK that is included in our International Delivery policy, you may wish to email us on sales@scooterandbikes.co.uk. You will be responsible for all customs requirements and duties arising where we agree to deliver the products outside the UK.

During the order process, we will let you know when we will expect to be able to provide the products to you. We will deliver them to you as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order.

If our delivery of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to cancel your order and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
Apart from your first order, you may ask us to deliver the products to an alternative address. We may attempt to deliver the products either to that alternative address, or to the address registered to the cardholder of the credit or debit card that you used to make payment.
Privacy & Security
We will use the personal information you provide to us to:
  • undertake credit reference, fraud prevention and fraud detection searches, and to validate the information you provide us with other publicly-available records (such as the electoral roll);
  • To supply the products to you;
  • To process your payment for the products; and
  • (if you agreed to this during the order process,) to give you information about similar products that we provide, but you may stop receiving this at any time by contacting us.

We will use the personal information you provide to us in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and our security policy.

Returns & Replacements
If what you have bought is faulty or mis-described you may have a legal right to cancel your order or to ask us to repair or replace the product. If you require a refund or replacement of products that were subject to a multi-buy offer, then all products (including those that you would otherwise want to keep) must be returned to us. The free or discounted product cannot be refunded on its own for money or credit.

Our ’no quibble 28-day returns policy’ reflects the goodwill guarantee offered by Cardiff Motorcycles Limited to its UK customers, which is more generous than your legal rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This goodwill guarantee does not affect your legal rights in relation to faulty or mis-described products. We allow a 28-day period to change your mind. You pay the costs of returning the product to us (we provide a free returns label on every order if you are a VIP Premier member).

If you have changed your mind about your order, you may be able to get a refund if you are within the cooling-off period or the ‘no quibble 28-day returns’ period, but this may be subject to deductions and you will have to pay the costs of return of the products unless you are a VIP Premier member and we have provided you with a free returns label.
If you are cancelling an order for a reason set out below, the order will be cancelled immediately and we will refund you in full for any products which have not been provided:
  • We have told you about an upcoming change to the product which you do not agree to
  • We have told you about a change to these terms which you do not agree to
  • We have told you about an error in the price or description of the product you have ordered and you do not wish to proceed
  • There is a risk that supply of the products may be significantly delayed because of events outside our control
  • We have suspended supply of the products for technical reasons, or notify you we are going to suspend them for technical reasons, in each case for a period of more than 30 days, or
  • You have a legal right to cancel the order because of something we have done wrong.

Where you wish to take advantage of the rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days after the day you receive the products. Where your products are split into several deliveries over different days, you have until 14 days after the day you receive the last delivery to change your mind about the products. Where you wish to take advantage of the rights under our ‘no quibble 28-day returns policy’, you have 28 days after the day you receive the products.

Ordering

Once you have found the product you want, press “add to cart” to add this item to your cart. You may adjust the quantity before adding to your cart. You now have the choice to either continue shopping or proceed to your cart. Items in your cart will remain in your cart until you are ready to complete your order. Alternatively, you can add an item to your “Wishlist” should you not wish to order the item yet but would like to keep track of it and quickly revisit its page later.

Once you have added all of your items to your cart, you can access your cart at the top of the site. From here, you can adjust your cart and apply any discount codes before proceeding with paying for your order.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

We accept payment with MasterCard, Maestro, Visa and Visa Debit, and you must provide your credit or debit card details at the time of placing your order. You must pay for the products before we dispatch them. The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct.

If you do not pay us for the products when you are supposed to (for example, your payment is declined by your credit card provider or your bank), we may suspend supply of the products until you have paid us the outstanding amounts. We will contact you to tell you we are suspending supply of the products. As well as suspending the products we can also charge you interest on your overdue payments.

From time to time, we may issue multi-buy offers, for example, ‘buy one get one free’ or ‘buy three products and get the lowest priced product for half-price’. Multi-buy offers cannot be used on permanently-reduced products, sale products or brand concession products. When we issue a multi-buy offer, we reserve the right to apply additional terms and conditions to the use of that offer which we will make clear to you at the time. We also reserve the right to withdraw or amend an offer at any time without giving you prior notice.

Viewing Orders
If you chose to create an account on our site when you submitted your order (or were logged in to an account you already created when you submitted your order), you can find your order on your account by clicking “My Account” at the top of the page. From here, you can see your Recent Orders, and on the left you can click “My Orders” to view all of your orders.
From here, you are able to see the status of your orders as well as the option to repeat your order.
Updating Account Information
If you have created an account on our website, you can update your information by logging in to the site and going to “My Account”.
On the left, you will see an option called Account Information. This option allows you to update your prefix, first and last name, e-mail address and password. You will also see Address book which will allow you to update or remove your shipping and billing address information.
